Nice Place, Reasonable Value

Years at this apartment: 2003-01-01 - 2005-01-01
I lived there for over two years which is a long time considering the turnover they have. I don't understand all of the bad reviews as the staff was ALWAYS polite and professional, friendly even.
Apartment was large and comfortable if not exactly elegant but hey, it had a pool, jacuzzi, 2 parking spaces and a washer/dryer. Where I come from back east you could barely pay the parking for the 2 cars for what they charge.
Maintenance of the property was always good and the on site maintenance staff was fine. The only problem was when they needed to use outside contractors, who didn't show up as scheduled.
Received my deposit back in full very quickly even though was told when I rented that there is usually a $200 carpet cleaning fee on move out. It was returned to them extremely clean however.
Noise was an inconsistent problem. Really depended who was living above me as it changed alot. Mostly was never an issue except on the weekends when the pool was filled with kids (the apartment was poolside) Area is fine but not ritzy. Shopping is close as is the freeway. LAX was nearby, which was important to me but not so that i heard the planes. Area felt secure and I never had a problem.
