The Worst Apartments Ever!

This place is an over priced dump. Just as the other review mentioned this building has nothing to offer -no elevator, no pool, no gym, no jacuzzi...not even a sundeck. One of the reasons I got stuck here is because they allow pets and it's hard to find places that let you have a dog. The management is a joke and changed hands more times than I can remember. The units are really small and the layout is extremely poor and awkward. My apartment had crappy brown carpet and old, linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom, that was peeling and discolored.
The buzzer never worked, so you had to go down to the gate to let visitors or pizza delivery in. The courtyard made this place a nightmare as far as noise. There always seemed to be someone fighting or having parties until all hours of the night. The walls were paper thin and our neighbors thought nothing of blasting rap music at 9:00Am on a Sunday morning.
There is only one laundry room with two washers and two dryers, which were often in need of repair. I also had clothing stolen from the laundry room.
The A/C filter was filthy when we moved in, there were really bad leaks anytime it rained and roaches whenever someone in the next apartment moved out (which was almost constantly.) The built-in microwave never worked from the day we moved in and the owner flat-out refused to fix it.(I know this sounds crazy, but it is true)
The owner was the worst part of living there. He is a real bully and extremely rude to tenants. We were charged a $450 pet deposit when we moved in and then six months later he charged us another $250, in spite of the fact that our pets never caused one iota of damage. The rent was increased twice a year -on the anniversary of your move-in date and also at the beginning of the fiscal year.
We were without a car for one month and our parking spot was given away. The rules and regulations changed with each manager.
Avoid this apartment like the PLAGUE. Not only 1215 Cherokee, but 1225 as well, because they are identical and both have the same owner.
