Where do I begin with all the problems at this apartment building
I recently moved and don't regret it.

Broken plumbing - water temperatures boiling or freezing - flip a coin

Dog crap everywhere

The onsite managers both have full time jobs and are never there so you'll never get anything fixed quickly.

The building is only cleaned when someone from the office is coming to inspect

Tenants leave their trash bags outside their apartments which stinks and brings in the rats. This includes bags with dog ---- in them.

Leaking pipes all over the building and your rent will go up every year because they complain about the cost of water and utilities.

There are much better places available to rent in the area. Don't choose 1225 or 1215 Cherokee apartments - they are beside each other and owned by the same gangsters.

Where do I begin? There are tenants that are dirty and childlike in every building, managers can tell them time and time again to pick up after their pets and that falls on deaf ears. I am a property manager for a building down the street from these 2 buildings and am familiar with the dog poop, but honestly that can be found all down our street. Unfortunatley the mess is caused by dirty tenants and neighbors and the blame falls on us, the managers. I have seen these buildings and do not know the managers but can tell you the tenants will never be pleased. If rent increases, the managers fall to blame, if there are leaks that are caused by old plumbing, the managers get the blame, if a tenant moves out and some of their deposit gets held due to the tenants dirty living, or bad treatment of the apartment--you guessed it. The manager is to blame. Rats? I have NEVER seen any rats down our street, if there are rats in one building there are rats in scattered-if not every- building. This is a lie. can anyone tell me of a building where all is perfect? not even in luxury apartments- GASP! there are break-ins there too!- If tenants were cleaner, us as management wouldn't have to be climbing a downhill escalator. We are managers-not a maid service.

i live in this building, the place is clean, it may not be washed as often but they r savin water =).now rats i,ve never seen a rat. this is not a restaurant theres planty on santa monica but not in this building.ive been here long enough to experience 2 other managers before the resent one. both r great, since i,ve been here i've never received a rent recet until now, the buildin has never been as clean as they are now and to add on top of that every tenant they get are verry nice. so i think people take out there anger in wrong way.
