They will take your money! They will make up a company that supposedly will clean the apartment and fix everything that is not broken so that they can charge you big time! They will do everything just to have all your security deposit. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT IF YOU WANT DRAMA/STRESS FREE ENVIRONMENT!

This is SO true. I moved out last year and they stole a huge chunk of my security deposit. Abecassis made up a cleaning company that doesn't exist and charged me for cleaning carpets that I weren't there any more. They also hit me with a number of fabricated charges and fake cleaning bills. No one at the office will return your calls and they take your keys off you at the time of inspection refusing to give you a written list of deductions as required by law etc. I asked for a written list of deductions during my inspection and I was told " no need - everything looks good - you kept your place nice" - then they withheld nearly $600 with a list of repairs I'd never heard of before. I've spoken with other tenants and they do this to everyone. Do not rent here. Worst apartment building in the area.
