I moved in after we got our new manager and I don't have any complaints about him. He does a great job. Our washers and dryers were old and failing and he got us new ones and even gave me quarters when the old dryer ate mine.
Regarding street parking, the signs clearly state when street parking is and is not allowed. If you get a ticket it's because you didn't move your car. Uh-duh.
The commonplaces of the building are cleaned more than once a week, I think. It always smells good and looks clean in here. As for landscaping, the grass has pee spots on it, and although I'd prefer it didn't, I come into the building or I leave. I don't stand on the 2-foot tree lawn and watch dogs pee.
The tub most certainly CAN be converted to a shower for under $100! My friend did it and it's fabulous.
I NEVER hear my neighbors and would not complain about a single one of them. The only noise comes from outside (traffic, construction.)
I heard about some abusive people in the past but they WERE evicted thanks to the new management. My neighbors are sweet, educated and employed.
Wanted to clear a few things up since I saw those reviews were written last year. It is definitely worth checking out The DuBarry.
