Small ceilings, thin walls

I lived her from 5/04-5/06 and stay away from anything on the second floor......you can hear everyone walking above you and the walls are super thin. I'm 6ft tall and I could touch the ceiling with my hand without jumping.
The unit is small, but cute with a balcony and management seemed pretty cool. I would definetely ONLY ask for high ceilings and somewhere on the third floor. If you do, you'll have found a little gem in a slice of Hollywood.
