We received a notice that they are going to fumigate the building for termites. They re going to use a chemical called Vikane. This is a category 1 toxic chemical. the building will be evacuated for three days. There will be a tarp put over the entire building. The building will be gassed. Anything that is living Plants etc.. will be killed. Vikane has been approved by the EPA back in 1961 and re-approved in 1994. Promethus will be doing 4 buildings on that day!

If you are in the building you will be forcefully removed! Forcefully removed!!

Also, they will not be renewing leases for there residents because they will be "renovating" each and every apt. If you are intending to move in your rent will jump from 1600 to 2400 if you are in a one bedroom. This company does not care about it's residents or the inconvenience that they are putting every resident through from having to evacuate your home to the construction over the next year or two. That and not renewing leases some of the residents have been in the building for years and they will be losing there homes.

Does this sound like a place you want to live in or a company you want to rent from'

Apparently the Manager knows there are issues because she hides in the office with the blinds shut!

I live in Kirkland, WA and they bought out our apartment building and are doing the same thing. People that have been living here for 15 years have been displaced. I think someone should legally do something about the ethics this company has.

We actually protested and they postponed they fumigation for one year. The catch was that they didn't notify anyone of the fumigation or the remodel of our building. They did post pone it for one year but they are not renewing any leases here. They are renovating the apartments and the rent is going up $400 to $700 a month.
