WARNING!!!!
DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS BUILDING!!!
I find it extremely funny that the current manager posts a comment in regards to "problems with previous management", but doesn't even bother to address ANY of the comments tenants have made, or other issues.
Regardless on how hard the current tenants fought to stop the VIKANE treatment, Prometheus lied, and is doing it anyway in 11 months. They are making everyone who moves into the building SIGN an agreement on the lease, allowing them to do it.
Construction will be on-going for over a year, and they will not compensate ANYONE for the issues. In-fact, they are allowing everyone to break their lease and move out. So...they prefer to lose $1800 /month than to compensate their current tenants for the issues''
When they first bought the place, they constantly boasted how "tenants are #1"...and that "customer service comes first."
It is a crock.
All Prometheus cares about is themselves.
They are kicking everyone out of the building, and not renewing anyone's leases.
1st floor will start at $2200.00/month, 3rd I believe was $2500.00/month
Here is an interesting fact:
"The Prometheus Real Estate Group, as well as its development arm and its management arm, have been involved in at least 62 lawsuits in Santa Clara County since 1980. In 2000, residents of a Prometheus-owned apartment complex called the Baltimore in Cupertino were outraged when a construction project released asbestos dust from sheetrock. Prometheus is the largest private owner of multifamily properties in the Bay Area, according its Web site.
A the Americano, where the same situation happened residents were forced to leave the building. While thy were kept out of the building by Mr. Mike Drouin (Prometheus), he insisted there is only "dust decontamination" and "general janetorial cleanup" while the warning signs placed on the sealed apartment clearly state the presence and dangers of asbestos. Moreover, he has illegally confiscated their personal properties and did not allow residents to retrieve them.
STAY AWAY!!!!

In those one bedrooms they're renovating, the rent cost will be close to $2300.00 per month. There's one apartment here they already renovated and charged that amount, and they rented it to a huge family living in that 1 bedroom! Last I counted there's about 4 adults and 3 kids! I don't know where they all sleep! It's ridiculous! With these prices each apartment is going to be crammed with families or roommate situations such as this. Isn't this illegal?
