Sounds like a new era of another level of hell for the current and soon to be tenants of this place. This new company seems to have a history of mistreating their tenants. Click on the below link to read this article from the Mountain View Voice - Nov. 2007.

I moved from Franklin Plaza because of the issues as well.. I found a place at 1530 N.poinsettia Pl. at the corner of N.poinsettia @ Sunset. 1 bedrooms go for $1750.. so that is in your price range if your interested.. it is a total 180 of a difference compared to Franklin Plaza.. Maintenance is fabulous here.. Management great so far.. The 2 lady manager heres are awesome.. Have not had any issues.. Yes 1 bedrooms are a little smaller than Franklin Plaza, but everything else about the building makes up for all the headache we dealt with at Franklin Plaza.. Apartment building is here is clean always and all units are completely renovated.. Its worth checking out.. Good luck on your search.. looking for a place sucks.. If anything i know.. Sigh !!!
