So i have lived here for about a year now and it used to be a really nice place to live. ok so the management wasnt thee greatest but at least they were nice and the building was lived in by people who genuinely loved to live here. some had been here for years. id come home at night and every window would be open even on the ground floor where everyone could look in, but noone cared as this was a very creative building with very unique people living in itand every home looked so n ice and lived in inside. However PROMETHEUS bought this building and i write that in bold letters as this company PROMETHEUS is extremely extremely disgusting towards its tennants. so any new people moving in dont be fooled by the nice new wood floors or plasma screen tvs or new bathrooms, none of the real problems here have been fixed. I planned to live here for a while as it is in a great location and the building is a nice size so you get to know everyone, but sadly the new owners PROMETHEUS really dont seem to care about residents. Every single face that i came to recognise here one by have slowly dissapeared. I was asked to sign a new lease which i gladly did, relieved at the thought the rumours that id get kicked out "weren't" true. however they were and i wasnt told when i signed my new lease that at the end of it id either have to get my apartment remodelled and pay te new rent, an increase of 500 dollars" btw or get out. so sadly it seems i shall be getting out as the inrease really IS NOT worth what theyve done. you simply would be paying for wood floors, of the cheap variet and just an upgraded version of the old kitchens along with a plasma tv. and i am quite ertain that if you can afford to pay the two thousand and something new rent, im sure that you probably already have a nice tv that you'll be moving with anyway. Over the past few months this building went from having a great energy and everyone looking happy to literally coming home to a building that has notieably hanged in its energy from positive to just a sad negative feeling. I know that may sound stupid but when you experience and notice it, it screams so loudly at you. The new manager is good, sadly she is the face of prometheus and i guess just doing her job. But even with all the changes, if someona had asked me a few months ago to live her, even without the renovations i would have said yes. But now even with the upgraded apartments i would say no. because as much as i love it here, the new apartments are simply mutton dressed as lamb. they are just the same apartments with wood floors and new kitchen, you'd be spending 500 dollas mor tahn what i pay for now (if one bed) and to be honest ive looked around new upgraded apartments. Plasma screen' i have a tv and all tvs are pretty much the same, you still will see the same show as everybody elese. the wood floors' look nice but they arent cosy or comfy. you can't just lie on your floor and watch tv and be comfortable on wood. the kitchen i went in one, they are so poorly designed that i couldnt even open the oven door because they'd place a kitchen cupboard qand its handle so the oven door hit the handle and couldnt open all the way. Its a very sad state of affairs for Franklin and i am genuinely genuinely saddened by whats happening here. and if anyone reading this thining of moving in thinking it wont happen to me. dont be fooled. i ignored the contents of these reviews before i moved in and it wasn as bad as people said but now, please trust my words as someone who has learnt that these reviews do reflect the truth. stay away. sadly this is no longer the building it once was, and i cannot express in words how sad and upset this whole situation has made me and the thoguht that i shall soon also be another evictee from this once glorious franklin. RIP Franlin u shall be sorely missed.
PROMETHEUS!! REMEMBER this name because these people are terrible terrible landlords. It will be one of the biggest mistakes you'll make moving here under these new owners. they are evil, they steal posessions and money, they drive people out. the stories i could tell are too terrible to share here for fear of being discovered that i wrote this in the first place. all i can say is, move in here and be looking over your shoulder for prometheus the whole time you live here.

Are you the same resident that flyered the entire property with silly comments about Prometheus? From your posting sounds like. My neighbor told me they saw you doing it and they called the courtesy patrol. Silly rabbit. This shows your intelligence. Renovations are going on all around the neighborhood, and it just part of business. Yeah the construction sucks, but it won't last forever. I got a 60 day notice before my lease expired that they would be renovating my unit at its end. I probably will have to move, but they did not have to do that. I don't know much about Prometheus, but the manager is trying to make it better. Business is business and as long as you are fair to the existing residents that is what matters.

let me guess...the first response was from the current manager? This site is for TENANTS, not employees of the company. I have spoken to almost all the tenants here, and NO ONE is happy. So don't bother reading that first response, it is total bollocks. I've lived here long enough to know everything in this post is true. PROMETHEUS has been involved in over 60 lawsuits, being sued by poorly treated tenants. I have NEVER lived in a building where even ONE lawsuit happened...but SIXTY!!! HOLY CRAP! People are moving out almost every day, and the building is at around 50% occupancy due to the high rents and disgusting management. I think 3 people moved out last week alone. This place is a waste of time, as are the owners. Google PROMETHEUS and Law suit, and see what the reality of the BS company

well thankyou for the first response on here. im not on here to comment on anyones intelligene at all. and i am simply venting because i don't want to move from here. However you are correct I am the same resident that posted the fliers and I do not feel bad as every effort was made by my team of poster writers and I to make sure that every flier was done with fun in mind careful not to be as harsh as we could have been. However if this is Laine writing the first post, just to assure you we LOVE YOU LAINE i do believe we put a flier on your window stating that. so no beef with you. anyway like i said just venting and expressing opinion as i believe this is what this board is for.

Laine can be nice but I've seen her turn on a dime as well if I complain about the noise from the renovation. She told me, "Well, I'm dealing with the noise too." But the difference is she gets paid to work here and she doesn't even live here as a manager usually is suppose to do. The maintenance guy lives here! Oh and since I'm looking for a new apt I see they have posted new ads on Craiglist about flex leases for 1650! Renters beware!!!

I dont live here but I do live at their other property "Vantage" which used to be the Seravellas. All i can say is that everything you guys are saying seems to apply at my complex too. I feel bad for some of the people who work for this company because they're not all bad but yes they work for worst mangement company I have ever rented from
