Despite the "we love our tenants" motto, this property management company treats both tenants and employees as expendable commodities. They are unreasonable and have several lawsuits pending against them. They have been found guilty of overcharging tenants in properties they own and been disciplined by the city hall adjudications division and rent stabilization department. Do not blame your manager for noise and repair issues. There is little they can do
because it is the Decron corporate office that instructs them to to rent each and every unit and ignore you once you sign a lease.

They treat their managers like pure rubbish and won't take any lip from tenants who will complain to them. Beware when you rent from them and request everything in writing in advance BEFORE you sign a lease. The only way that Decron Management will behave their best and address your needs, is if you are an attorney, law enforcement or government official. I am entitled to my opinion and my review is to protect you from unecessary trouble. Move at own risk.

I agree with your review wholeheartedly and what you said couldn't be more true because I have experienced it as well. Decron Managementhas a horrible reputation and I like others had to sue them in LA Small Claims Court to get my deposit returned. I agree with you also that you must get everything from Decron Management spelled out in writing--do not trust the manager or their superiors--they have a lawyer on retainer who loves to make tenants lives hell. Even if you get awarded money from court--Decron will refuse to pay you so you will have to attach one of their accounts in order to get it. Do what I did and attach the account which is listed on the back of one of your cancelled rent checks--you will definately get your money that way!

I agree also! PLEASE STAY AWAY from this company. I reside at Villa Fracisca and they are horrible. It is not rent controlled and they raised everyones rents up to at least $300 more than they are already paying! They have done this to tenants who are exposed to construction also! They are the most evil greedy scumlords I have ever encountered and I'm ot kidding! Someone has started a site against them called Decron exposed. That should tell you what they are like. They are heartless machines who are pure greed and dishonesty. They treat their managers and tenants like crap!

we had a similar experience at another one of their properties. we won in court against them. it was a complete nightmare, and caused us a lot of stress. even when they know they are in the wrong, their business strategy is to drag everything out, abusing the court system, and make it as painful as possible so you will give up. it is surprising that people out there are so unethical.

I am going to file a small claims case against Decron later this month. Their attempts to keep my security deposit is only a greedy grab for all the money they can get.

Boy I wish I had read this before I went in to apply at their new location "Playa Del Oro". I had to file bankruptcy this year due to a divorce, etc. and am trying to move on with my life. I disclosed this at the time of my application. They ran my credit and came back and said I was approved with conditions. I am relocating from out of state and had to return to get ready for my move. I was called 2 days later and told they declined me because of the BK. Boy was I furious! I feel they totally discriminate and make up their own rules. I called other management companies after this and asked if they did business the same way and they do not. I hope they don't get this place rented out and hopefully people will read here first before they even attempt to look at this.
