The previous reviewers are all spot on. VA was a pathological lier, then he was replaced by a great RM but he got fired for paperwork problems. The current manager (Lynch), although started out not realizing the pressures of hollywood living, has always been very nice and takes care of most issues as fast as possible. Hopefully they will continue on this path!
Current problems with the area: Recently the city of LA granted the whitley hights area preferential parking restrictions. This has made parking for my guests and roomate impossible. Since our buildings address is on franklin, the city of LA will not issue guest parking permits, even though our block has restricted spots available in the whitley heights. Because of this, the 4 guest spots inside of the building are usually full.
Positives of this place is it's central location, plenty of quality food places to eat out even when you dont have a lot of $$. Friendly neighbors and neighborhood of younger hip adults. Easy access to metro rail redline and transportation. Close to many large parks in the canyons.
