Honestly you can't much beat the Hollywood Ardmore as long as there are no major construction projects afoot. Sure, the Ardmore is not the upscale place it once was (it used to be rather chic) but the view really is great - and this is Hollywood not Irvine. Please, don't move in unless your a fun upbeat person... because we don't need you dragging us down! :)
The Ardmore Rocks Hollywood.

Well - things have sadly changed at the Ardmore. CIM Group purchased the building last year and fired the great management company and hired cheapo security guards that sleep on the job. It has gone from a friendly, leave your front door unlocked place, to a fiasco with broken in cars, graffiti on the exterior and interior halls!! "Young hip Hollywood" has moved in which are a bunch of out of control party girls and rude boys that harrass everyone. 4 people to a one bedroom, drunks and druggies, and rednecks attending MI have taken over. The refined, polite, and safe haven atmosphere has been completely destroyed. In addition, their "renovations" have passed over areas sorely in need of repair in favor of tearing out post-modern architectural touches and fixtures in favor of Home Depot's latest discount offerings. Sad and disgusting.
