This Hollywood landmark, at the foot of the infamous Whitley Heights (home of Rudolph Valentino)was a great place to live during the two years I had my 11 th floor apartment with a sprawling balcony that (on a clear day) you could see the Pacific ocean. During my stay, the management was among the WORST I had ever encountered. With an elitist attitude, you'd be hard pressed to get a smile out of that dingy office. Some of the doormen were really cool... and some were uptight, fidgety old queens! But all in all, if you pay your rent on time, and have no need for the managers office... you'll get along fine in this gracefully decrepid building of the past...
