This property could be great, but right now it sucks. It used to be a great place under better ownership once upon a time, but LRA the managers we have had recently treat this place like it was some kind of experiment on human behavior with the tenants as psychiatric jail inmates.
Some of the newer tenants are psyco. They'd have to be to pay the new rents, so mcuh for rent control.
The manager is a total freak. He has something going on with unlicensed repair people who buzz-saw stuff at like four in the morning as if they're on crystal meth most of the time.
They steal things from the garages which have no security at all. Then they send wierd notes to people with rules they break themselves. They gossip about tenants business, threaten neighbors they decide they don't like for no reason but they're playing favorites, also racial, and they take part in feuds they start like to stir it up for fun and gameswhile they break the law.
It just keeps getting worse, even for new tenents paying a fortune for advertized luxury conditions that don't exist here any more. Not too long ago, the regular tenants had a chance to live their lives in peace, but no more,nobody really does.
But will the city do anythign against LRA Inc- not enough.
If this is how landlording in Los Angeles in going, then god help us all.
