It has been a battle to stop on-site "handyman" from working with loud power tools at midnight (literally), and not to perform loud work on Sundays and evenings. Majority of pet owners are great, but management is allowing a dog to bark night and day, even though the owner has had several months to do something about this issue. Upkeep has declined radically over past few months, with dirty laundry room and elevator entry areas. Old elevator frequently breaks down. Manager tries, but doesn't appear to get much backup from the mysterious "LRA." Very happy in my individual apartment itself, but will move as soon as time is right. Incidentally, I have never heard complex called Hollywood Astoria, always Hillside Apartments.
