The apartment is very close to campus making my life much easier. The manager is wonderful! She makes living here my home away from home - always available and always reliable. Our work orders get taken care of same-day if possible, never more than 24 hours. Parking sucks, and if you are sharing 2 spots in the apartment garage among 3 or 4 cars, parking tickets are no surprise when it's your turn to park outside! Parking at school costs $8 a day that's $400 a quarter without a parking permit, and assuming you get lucky enough to get a permit that's $256 a quarter. I did not come to this school to worry about where I'm leaving my car. I am moving from this apartment because of the outrageous request that students should pay $100 a month on parking in in the apartment (that's $300 a quarter, more that UCLA charges!). The rent is also going up by $200, that is a steep increase! I love the location, I love the luxury the place offers, I love the atmosphere, I love my roommates and the manager, but I cannot stay and dish out an extra $200 a month with all these increases.
