The manager will ask u to fill a repair form, then she will get back to you in a few days. The reason they do this, is to make sure they have enough people with the same problem, as to save money on having the repairman come out. One or two days would be understandable, but I'm talking a week or more!!!

I've been the new manager at Keystone Apartments now since January 2005. In response to the letter by "sony04", yes, residents are asked to fill out repair request forms so that there is a record of what needs to be done as well as what has been done to each apartment. It's in the resident's benefit as each form has a date on it in order to ensure a prompt remedy to their repair needs. Scheduling is not based on waiting until several similar repairs arrise, but rather on when the professional repairperson is available. And more times than not, our professionals are immediately available, but have to postpone coming to the unit because the resident is unavailable. However, on the repair forms, the resident has the option to allow access to their apartment by the manager and our professional workers to complete the requested repairs and most repairs are resolved in timely manners.
