What a crappy year, I would have gotten out earlier if I could. (One year lease).
First off the property is infested with pests and vermin. I had a mouse run into my apartment and cockroaches own the place. County Health Inspectors came around multiple times in my year there.
My bathroom ceiling caved in because of a water pipe leak from above, the job to fix it was slow and inadequate (They could have avoided it when I told them that the ceiling was leaking the first time).
Kitchen sink backed up with a bunch of crud. Gross.
Upstairs neighbors were constantly partying late at night and made lots of noise with their house guests. Since the apartments are small you can't get away from the noise.
The resident manager is reluctant to help with any requests and the owner is not pleasant to deal with. Watch out for your security deposit the owner fleeced me for ridiculous items.
Stay away at all costs, pay a little more and find yourself a better place.
