DANGEROUS
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 4/9/2002
Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2000
I lived here for a year and a half; from 1998 through early 2000.
The manager was an alcoholic and did many unethical things like threaten people's lives and on MANY occasions, entered peoples appartments without notice while they were out.
The worst feature besides the horrible water system (the water would be turned off at LEAST 3 times a week) was the cavernous courtyard. With all the surrounding buildings and VERY noisy neighbors, it made sleeping impossible, even with great earplugs.
The elevator was right near my bedroom and literally, the whole room shook when it went up and down.
When I left, they charged me $100 for the colored paint which the MANAGEMENT painted themselves!
Most of the tenants were VERY inconsiderate and selfish; what do you want, it IS Hollywood, right'
The guy on the first floor was even convicted of pedophilia, which occured all in the building; he was a really evil guy.
The new owners are very unethical also.
I HIGHLY warn anyone considering moving into this VERY HORRIBLE building which is also FAR too expensive, especially for where it is.
BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
