This place SUCKS
The first night I lived here, my sofa wouldn't fit through the door, so they told me to leave it in the hall overnight and maintenance would help me in the morning. Well, the sofa was STOLEN that night. The place is also run byā¦Ā See More >anonymous

tenant of the Langham
I agree completely with the last review and also want to add that the Langham now has bed bugs. My apartment that I moved to in July (after living in another studio for a year, which did not have them) is completely infested andā¦Ā See More >guydude667788

noise, noise and more noise
I have to say that I love my apartment: the layout, the building, its location and the cleanliness (the hallways constantly smell like pinesol), but I have to move as soon as my lease expires. The noise and loss of sleep is killing me slowly.ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Great building.....alright management
I lived in the building for 3 1/2 years and I never personally had a problem with the management because they always got things done, and very helpful, she even knows the tenants names. However, Mitch the maintenance guy was a CREEP and toldā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Vintage Living
I've lived in this building for about 6 years and love my apartment and the building. Pros: Historic, charming, architecturally beautiful and interesting; convenient to subway, Wilshire Blvd. and the 10 Freeway. Cons: no air conditioning, original casement windows which are a littleā¦Ā See More >semonelove

Great Building, except for management and film crew
I love my neighbors, I love the look of the neighborhood. But the management is abusive and ingenious and the film crews are obnoxious and constant. The management is definitely of the "passive aggressive" school. I had a complaint-- they responded by claiming there wasā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Wonderful building, terrible managment (and filming).
The building is amazing and has my highest endorsement. I never hear my neighbors, the pool finally opened a few weeks ago (though is technically only open on the weekends), and the neighborhood has tons of great food and bars within walking distance. The problemā¦Ā See More >anonymous

the profit of a few at the expense of the many
memorable, unique building run very professionally...building noise isn't too bad, but courtyards often reflect other's living in through your windows (which need to be opened, as no air conditioning is available)...my main complaint with living in the langham was the ridiculous amount of film productionā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Don't do it!
I've been in the Langham for about two years now and needed to set things straight as I'm finally leaving LA! This place is an absolute dump! When I moved in two years ago, I was told that they have a pool on the rooftopā¦Ā See More >anonymous

cool building! a lot of history
I have lived here for over 3 years, and love it. I have heard many stories about the history of the building. Here are the rumors:

Built by Al Jolson in the mid 1920's

The first rooftop pool in the city of Los Angeles, rumoured that theā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Manager never smiles, but gets job done quick!
Lived here for two years. Plan to stay. It's true like everyone says, the manager is a tough cookie, but she gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Just have minimal contact as possible; she doesn't want to hear what you have to say.ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Management Lacks Professionalism
The Langham Apartment building is an interesting place, to say the least. It is so much like a Peyton Place. Management is really in their own little world and NOT professional, at all. The common word to refer to them "B***H." Thisā¦Ā See More >Langham
