Langham

 

I've been in the Langham for about two years now and needed to set things straight as I'm finally leaving LA! This place is an absolute dump! When I moved in two years ago, I was told that they have a pool on the rooftop and to this day it hasn't opened once, except for filming purposes.

Despite some sad attempts at renovation...ie: painting the elevators, this building is still a mess.

People constantly vandalize the insides of the elevators, which is terrible and says lots about the residents...gang element.

The street (Normandie) is so noisy that I have trouble sleeping most nights.

There is no A/C and the radiator is very loud at night too.

I think that paying 1100.00/month for a one bedroom here is way too much, but the location is perfect for me as it's very close to the subway(redline).

If I had known that there would be all these problems, I never would have left my apt.

downtown at Bunker Hill apartments, which was about 1200/mo for a studio when I left.
