I love my neighbors, I love the look of the neighborhood.

But the management is abusive and ingenious and the film crews are obnoxious and constant.

The management is definitely of the "passive aggressive" school.

I had a complaint-- they responded by claiming there was more than one resident living in my apartment.

Ummm...

no.

Actually.

The maintenance man Mitch outright told me he would stand outside my door and listen to me and my "guests".

What a F-ing creep.

Yeah that Mitch gut is a straight weirdo, and Andrea is a truly horrible character that has zero business dealing with the public. Gus the nightwatchman on the other hand is hilarious. I happen to enjoy blowing takes by walking right through the shot, makes up for all the noise and hassle of the shoots.

Do these apartments have Air Conditioning? If not, can you put in your own window unit?

They use this building for filming like HEROS, FAME, YES MAN, HOTEL FOR DOGS, 24 and more it happens once a month on average, mostly they use the roof top penthouse or the lobby or outside on the street. All utilities are paid, most of the time there is no vacancy.
