New Improvements on an Older Building

I've enjoyed my three-plus years here at the Le Baron Apartments. The prices are competitive considering the upscale neighborhood. The walls are thick, and rarely do I hear noise from neighbors' units. When I first arrived, there was a young manager who may have been a 'lame duck' and subsequently neglectful of his duties. The current manager, David, is on-site, courteous, and prompt in his response when I have questions or issues. I've spoken once with Sara at the regional office and she was very polite and respectful. I'm guessing the building is from the 1940s or 1950s, so the plumbing has been in process of overhaul lately. In a comparatively safe Hollywood neighborhood, and within walking distance to restaurants and a supermarket.
Over the last six months: 1) some very nice landscaping was done out front; 2) better lighting installed in the garage; 3) new washers installed last month; 4) Pool area has recently been improved, and the pool is now heated; 5) security cameras installed in the hallways.
