Living at this address has been a hazardous experience. Look for sudden changes when notices are posted such as unexpected rent increases, water being turned off, no heat, broken EVERYTHING. The parking lot is dark and very difficult to maneuver. Within a week of moving in there were significant repairs necessary in my unit, some of them dangerous to my health. My upstairs neighbor moved out and after the apartment was rennovated, the floors were not properly cushioned. The new occupant made an absurd amount of noise even when walking across the floor. By the time i moved out I had heard every explicit detail of her personal life (usually at 2am). I also sustained personal injury when an appliance broke in my apartment. The building owners were very uncooperative and unresponsive. I was always on time with my payments, but when I got no response from the managers, I threatened to withhold rent and they threatened to take legal action and destroy my credit. I paid through the end of my lease though I had to move out because they never made adequate repairs. Upon inspection at the end of the lease the managers informed me they would deduct 'standard fees' from my deposit even though they stated that the apartment 'looked fine'. The previous manager was great, but the new managers don't seem to really have any control over what happens in the building. The mysterious and unnamed property owner calls all the shots. I heard about several residents who broke their lease despite threats from management because the conditions were so bad. This is not a safe building physically and overall an unpleasant place to live.

Readers beware of disgruntled ex-residents just venting their personal issues. I happen to know this girl (apparently I'm the noisy upstairs neighbour, even though I'm only 5'2" 105 lbs.)and most likely she's just pissed because she messed with her radiator and subsequently soiled her carpet, bedding, and stuff. Even though technically this is covered under her renter's insurance (which everyone should have by the way) I heard the building still paid to have everything cleaned and gave her a discount for the inconvenience (that she had caused to herself)! People make mistakes, but they only get viscious towards others when they know they are wrong and can't admit it. Why else are there so many lawsuits similar to the woman who sued McDonalds for spilling coffee on herself? Tenants, management, owners, basically the whole world, needs to start using common sense and taking responsibility for their actions. Grow up and stop being such a baby.
