This was my last day in my apt. If you don't already know this building is located on skid row in downtown LA. The one with the crack heads, drug dealers, mental paitents, prostitutes and illegal immigrants. When i moved in two years ago the general area was bad but not as bad as it is today. The city has opened a shelter a block away and subsequently every transient in downtown has parked their box on the doorsteps of Little Tokyo Lofts. It gets worse, the building next door will be turned into a battered home for women and children. Not that there is anything wrong with that but there has been many times when non residence are swimming in the pool. Along with homeless parked in the parking structure for a good nights sleep. To keep it short the building and lofts are some of the best in downtown and it should be because you'll need to lock yourself inside until the sun comes out. Note: these lofts are turning into purchase only condos. If you plan on buying these, plan on owning the only depreciating property in LA.
