My wife and I are considering buying one of the units in this building as it is in the process of converting to condominiums.
There is no secret that this building is adjacent to Skid Row-- that's part of its urban pioneer appeal... If you're looking for quiet leafy streets, then downtown loft dwelling is not for you...
The building is very cool, very safe...as far as the neighborhood goes, Little Tokyo is on fire and a short walk away, and Skid Row has become a major political issues, so look for lots of government $ and other reforms to get thrown at it in the very near future...
