This is skid row and it is getting worse. I know this because i walk to the train station everyday. I step over pools of urine and fecal matter until i hit 2nd street. Everyday im accosted by pan handlers, I'm yelled at and the smells of the area is horrendous. The building itself is now showing that it is in skid row; its filthy. The walls are paper thin and you can hear the bums yelling outside all night( i live in on the interior building). The worst part of all is when i called the police about a woman across hall screaming for someone to call 911 on her boyfriend. i did and it took 10min for the operator to call back and say there was nothing there. I repeated that they needed to come in the building. another ten minuets went by and i went down to see where they were. waved them in from outside and they looked at me like i was from mars...it gets better.. they asked me if she was black or latino or white' is this were you what to live' you are treated like the homeless. this is all 100% true...good luck dont be fooled my the positive reviews by the management.
