Poor Management

The HOA have gone up to a ridiculous increase of 15% from September 2008. Whenever I had a problem with an alarm going off from a vacant loft especially at night, don't rely on management to to turn it off for you. I had subsequent problems with that and nobody had really paid attention to it.
The security guard has no access to vacant unit's key whenever there is some problems. I paid my HOA and when I called the condo manager, they will try and see it. Now, I have to suffer to listened to this alarming noise for two days until the office is open on regular hours.

again, place blame where blame is due--the security guard cannot help it if he does not have a key--although it is indeed frustrating. the vacant unit is PRIVATE PROPERTY. the former owner, and the listing agent that now has control of the property are the ones being rude, inconsiderate -------s. i agree that the hoa should make every effort to contact them, but they can only do so much. my loan closed, and it took TWO WEEKS for me to get the keys from the seller's agent. it was ridiculous. but not the hoa's fault. i had my keycards and vehicle tags a day after i phoned and requested them. that is thier realm, and they handled it. i admit, the woman in the office on the property is pretty worthless, but she WILL give you the phone number of someone who DOES get things done. . .
