Do not move here! Ive been here for several months and I have to say that this place is nothing but a learning experience. The manager is a mental case who has seen his best years pass him by and that's if he ever had any best years. Don't be fooled by the "Yes come and live here" opinions because I know for a fact that the favorable opinions of this pace are made by the apartment managers sub-drones. They ususally are in charge during the weekends but you rarely see them. I hate that I signed a lease here and as soon as its up I'm out of here!! When I see others leave its like wow they made it out of here alive. I believe this place will be better off once the apartment manager is finally leaves, gets fired etc but one can only be so hopeful. Please consider your other options carefully and if you have to live here keep as low profile as possible, minimize your encounters with the on site manager and you will make it out alive. The parking garage is unsafe! Major break ins every year. The water is turned off every Tuesday for hours which is a health violation and major accident waiting to happen the residents are not the friendliest bunch but that maybe the only plus. No one stays here very long....one year at the most and they bail. I have another 6 months to go and i've never been to prison but it's like waiting to be released from one! STAY AWAY FOR YOUR SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lived here?

| This is not true. This building is really no more transient than Los Angeles itself is. We have a great number of residents who have lived here for well over five and even over ten years. We do cater to grad students which are here for studies and they do move out when the program is over. Some have stayed on after, if they get a local job. Many of the doctors come from all over the world to do fellowship programs at Kaiser and Children's. They do move back to their native countries after the fellowship ends in one year. Water is turned of on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. if needed. Usually the water is back on by 11:30. Otherwise, it would be turned off randomly as the need arises to stop leaking from over 800 valves of ages up to 19 years. It does not happen every week. It is always posted the day before. Why is there any surprise? Why is anyone unable to shower before 10 a.m. when they have been informed when they moved in and the day before each occurrence? | |

I currently live at Los Feliz Apartments. It's perfect. Carl is kinda' crazy, but he has to keep track of 300 residents in this building. He's very stressed out, and yes, it does show. But the reviewer's only complaints besides demonizing Carl was that the garage is "unsafe", and that the "water is turned off" sometimes on Tuesdays for a couple of hours. Firstly, the garage is lit very well. It's clean, open, -with video cameras,....HOWEVER, if you leave your I-pod on your front seat, you deserve to have it stolen. That's Los Angeles, -NOT Los Feliz Club's fault. Secondly, I've never even noticed the water being shut off, -most people don't, -cuz most people are at work from 10am to 11:30am on Tuesday. This apartment complex is the cleanest safest and most relaxing place I've ever lived, -and the people here are very friendly(except maybe Carl, lol).
