Of the choices in the immediate area, the complex itself isn't physically a bad place to live (blue, orange, and red color schemes aside). Perks include an indoor pool and workout area and gated underground parking (I was lucky not to have any problems like some have reported). The maintenance guy is also nice and pretty responsive (unlike the moody manager who really weighs down an otherwise OK place to live).
When you have to talk to him, interactions will likely range from awkwardly cordial to rude and condescending. Thereās āby the book,ā and then thereās apparently the managerās set of rules and quirks. He has no problem enforcing both--with a strict dedication that makes Antonin Scalia look liberal and easy-going.
Echoing the sentiment of others, this place is OK for about a year before moving onto something better. Definitely not a long-term option unless you enjoy being treated like an unruly 18-year old (for the record, Iāve never been accused of being āunruly,ā and I havenāt been 18 in a long time). Good Luck.

I appreciate that this may be someone's honest assessment. Again, I say, I try to keep everyone happy. I will never be successful at doing so. I have learned long ago that my position is not a popularity contest. It falls to me to keep everyone in line as far as rules are concerned.
