FIrst let me say i'm a traveling nurse and i've leaved here for close to 4 years now on and off. The management is Asian, and not interested in helping you for the most part unless they are raising your rent (which my company pays for) Raquel was fantastic in every way possible in helping me get situated, but she no longer works here sorry to say, I've never had a problem with the maintance dept who happens to be a few handy men, I've never smelled any drug use lol or have seen any undesirables in this apt! This is a very very old building, even good cell phone or internet access is troublesome, but the owners of this building KNOW they can get top dollor for these apartments because the Los Feliz/Hollywood Hills area is one of the most costly areas in L.A. so they choose to do nothing to maintain or do any improvements on this place, honestly' they don't have too, because people will live in this building just for the location and the acessability to Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and other prime locations!
If i didn't feel safe, i wouldn't be here!! People are comparing this place to South Central and it's NOT!! not even close.
IF any of you want a very cool area to live in, and can afford a very overpriced apt for the money they request, then this is the place for you 1 bedroom is 1995.00 yeah, you read correctly!! LOL but i'm safe, and i love the area!
