I'm not that happy with The Madrid

The Madrid Apartments look real good from the outside. Nice landscping, fresh paint, clean street, etc... The grounds and coutyards are well groomed. The porperty has a swimming pool and a fitness center, too! But that's where the good stuff ends. The carport parking is tandem for some residents. The driving lanes are narrow-one lane. Manuevering into and out of a parking stall is burdensome. For such a large complex, the maintenance staff is undersized. I've been waiting for three months to get a sliding closet door in my bedroom rehung. My vent fan above the stove doesn't work. I've experienced circuit overload and had to reset the breakers. The water pressure at my face bowl is low. Last month my wife went to open a cabinet door in the kitchen and it fell off it's hinges and struck on the nose causing a bad "shiner". After two maintenance requests, the rogue cabinet door still hasn't been rehung. Don't be dismayed about the aircraft. The noise ain't "that bad". I've lived in worse locations. You can get used to anything with enough exposure. If you decide to move here you're playin' at your own risk.
