Management will drive into bankruptcy

A new management company has recently come on with new qualifying guidelines and wacky rules about conessions (leases up in May get 1 month free but not those up in March or April). I have lived here for 2 years and always paid my rent on time, and now I have to show $50,000 of disposable income just to stay in my same place. Considering that the building is mainly filled with students, I wonder how long the Medici will stay afloat. Further, management has no respect for anyone. My consultant, when talking about renewing my lease, would just get up during the meeting and leave to take care of things without a simple "excuse me" or anything. Management is just horrendous.
Also, while the apartments themselves are nice, as are the gyms, the TV frequently goes out, sometimes the water goes out, we had a couple cockroaches in our immaculately clean kitchen, and I have seen mice cross my path in the stairwells. In an ironic twist of fate, the freeway view apartments are actually quieter than the other apartments because of double paned glass windows. Further, the walls are thin and security is a laugh.
Finally, there are four visitor parking spots for two buildings. There is an entire extra parking lot that they lease out to a company rather than use it for residents and their guests. They are opening that parking lot up now - from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. - which is an improvement but if your guest leaves during business hours, they still have to pay.
Would NOT recommend unless you want to be treated like you don't matter, ripped off, and screwed when you want to renew. Oh, and EACH roommate needs to show $50,000 (or more, depending on the apartment) just to live here - even if you're a student who intends to share a room. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
