First of all it does look nice from the outside and the inside with the beautiful landscaping (and if you happen to get high go on a walk to the waterfall in B Bldg...really nice). Besides containing luscious green scenery there is nothing else positive I can say about the Medici. The elevators break down at least three times a week (this is no joke), I have lived here for two years in the A bldg. and it has always been this way...having to walk up five flights of stairs daily and at times with heavy groceries is not acceptable, considering the expensive $1,900 a month rent that we pay for 2 bdrms. After calling constantly to fix the elevator, they will fix it and then the next day it would be out again for a couple of days!!! It is seriously crazy!!! Besides the broken elevator, false fire alarms would randomly go off repeatedy around 3 am lasting for at least 30 minutes while the very very loud obnoxious sound would not stop. After calling security during the alarm and asking what was the problem, their answer was we do not know if there is a small fire..what kind of answer is that, but they tell you not to evacuate until they know what is going on'' All the workers here are very unorganized, rude, and lazy!!! Thirdly, the walls appear to be constructed of paper since I can hear everything that goes on next door from his/her morning alarm, conversations, music, showers, everything!! Not to mention the walking above us was incredibly loud and our walls would rattle when his/her would walk!! I do not recommend the Medici to anyone unless they are ready for an overpriced apt. in the middle of the ghetto!!
