A Terrible Place to Live

Where do I start' I will admit that I was wowed by how beautiful the building and apartment interiors are, and that's why I chose to live there. That excitement wears off after a couple of months, and what you're left with is:
1) Elevators that break down several times a month (and a maintenance staff that doesn't bother to put "out of order" signs on them, so you have to push the button and wait like an idiot for an elevator that never comes.
2) No security whatsoever. They actually removed the locks on the doors from my garage to the hallways, making it that much easier for anyone to get in. They put a cage-like gate around the elevators in my garage, but the door to the gate never closes properly. Early on in my two-year stay here, I pointed out some of the security problems to the assistant manager at the time, but they never did anything abuot it.
3) An enfuriating group of management staff who combine a complete lack of caring with an unbelievable level of stupidity. They will not EVER respond to ANY inquiry. You can check back 3 or 4 times and they will NEVER have a resolution for you. The Legacy staff was absolutely horrible, and Con Am managed to find a new group that is even worse. They are rude, unhelpful, self-righteous, condescending, smug, and of borderline-retarded intelligence. They also seem to never be there. They never open on time, and they always close early. Seriously, I could go on for hours about how evil they are, but the veins are starting to pop out on my forehead as I type.
4) Big rats everywhere. Lots of rat traps too, but they apparently don't work.
5) Trash all over the hallways. There are a number of tenants who are too lazy and/or spoiled to actually put their trash IN the trash chute, so the hallway around each trash chute is often littered with oversized empty boxes and trash bags full of garbage. The management staff often lets it sit there until it's rotting.
6) No guest parking at all. Actually, there are about 4 spaces for the over-600 units, but they're always full.
7) A steam room in the men's locker room that has not worked for months, despite several tenants making maintenance requests.
I could go on for pages and pages, but I think you get the idea. I am moving out at the end of August, and I cannot ------- wait.

I think this site is purely a ranting place. These reviews, while having some truth to them, blow everything way over the top. The Medici, while it has it faults, is definately NOT the sewage pot they discribe. I am anxious to see how any of these people who reviewed this place review any place they live, because the Medici is one of the most beautiful and quiet places I have ever lived - period.
