think twice before signing the lease

i have lived in medici for almost one year and am honestly counting down the days until my lease expires.

at first glance, the other reviews on this site seem pretty outlandish.

but i can confirm that they are more truthful than not.

the best asset of the medici is the grounds.

it is a fairly new complex with many amenities not offered by other apartments in the area.

but if you are not making your apartment choice on the basis of the number of pools, workout rooms, and tennis courts offered by the complex, i would look elsewhere.

the location is not the greatest and there is a large homeless, prostitute, & drug dealer population in the surrounding community.

my biggest pet peeve is the number of spoiled usc kids in the building that were not raised to pick up after themselves, hence the often trashed hallways and common areas.

and as everyone else has mentioned already, the staff is pretty horrible.

the security guys are generally nice but incompetent.

the leasing office is a joke - i've given up on responding to surveys because i haven't seen one effort to make the community better.

please think twice before signing the lease.

you shouldn't have to live through 12 months of regret like so many others.
