well let me first start off by saying that I've been at the Medici for almost 5 months now. A lot of the complaints are absolutley true, but sometimes they are over exagerating. Let me start off with all the bad stuff first. The management is from hell. They suck sooo bad it's amazing. They will never return any of your calls and they are soo busy all the freakin time. Since I've been here, the leasing agents have been coming through like a revolving door. It's like you speak to them one day and the next they're gone. The security gaurds all cool, but they're not the smartest guys and don't expect them to fight off any robbers. The parking is horrible for any guests. There are like 6 visitor parking spots, so your friends will have to street park if they want to come over. But be aware of the bum gang! There are a bunch of bums that hang out all around the building. Mostly on 8th street. I would hate to live over on that side of the building. Also, my friend saw a huge rate the size of a cat on our balcony. The apartment grounds are actually pretty nice, but to be honest I don't feel safe walking around the apartment at night. There are a lot of USC students that live here and at times it can get loud. Sometimes there are piles of trash next to the trash chuetes. Since I've been here there has been one 2a.m false fire alarm. It is so loud! Also, there have been multiple power outages, and one time I was late to work cuz the power was out and I couldn't get out of the parking garage. NOW SOME GOOD THINGS. The apartment grounds are really nice. They have a gym, tennis courts. 2 pools, spa, bbq pits, and beach volley ball. Now a lot of the posts have been complaints and all are true but I think a lot of it is over exagerated. First of all the people writing the complaints are probably rich USC kids that have lived in nice homes with their families and are spoiled as hell. They see a little mess or what ever and they freak out. Well hello, you're living in down town los angeles. What do you expect' There are going to be bums, rats, trash, noise, etc...... Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Quick note...every house in L.A has the same problems. Okay you don't like the Medici, where will you live' Yeah it's expensive, but would you rather live by SC near Watts' That's even more ghetto! I do hate the Medici, but it's due to the stupid management. If you can don't live here, but to be honest it's not that bad. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
