Lame workout room - Try the Piero instead

I have lived at The Medici for five years and have experienced nothing but problems with the management. The people at the desk and the associates are morons. I don't even have packages sent there anymore b/c as unbelievable as it sounds it's a hassle picking them up. I've had packages be rejected and even worse, being signed for and LOST. They won't even sign for flowers! If you do make the mistake of having a package delivered to you at home, you can only pick up your package between 9-6, hello, some working people get home after 6!
Last year I had a problem with my toilet running constantly and I had to call them 4 times to get it fixed and when they finally did, they trashed my apartment and didn't clean up after the mess they made. They flooded my bathroom and my carpet in the bedroom was soaked.
Most annoying of all, is the workout room they so proudly show you on the tour. Look carefully, NONE OF THE TV'S WORK in either workout room!!! They have been broken for at least 6 months, missing buttons and I don't think they are even paying for cable anymore. Everytime a tour comes in the workout room while I'm there and I corner the Medici Moron currently working there, they lie to me that the situation is being handled or that a guard will come down and help me. Nothing happens except 20 minutes later when another tour goes by they don't come in b/c I'm still there. From the look of the staff they are unfamiliar with how to use a workout room, let alone how boring it is to just look out the window when you run.
The security is a joke. Just some guy, different every time who sits at the desk and does nothing. Anyone can get into the building. Tons of people sneak animals into their apartments. At the beginning of this year, the smoke alarm went off between the hours of 12AM and 2AM twice a week. I think they just disconnected them eventually.
Every year the management changes and there are promises about upkeep and updating parking, but nothing ever changes.
Don't live at the Medici. I LOVE my apartment, it's very spacious and well designed.I'll give them that. But if I knew how long it would take to find a house to buy, I would haved moved a couple of years ago. My boyfriend lives at the Piero and it's night and day. They know him by name, accept his packages (and he can get them anytime he wants) and the workout room is goregous and has working tv's.

If your so unhappy why have you stayed for 5 years? Sounds like to me you are the moron for spending your money on a place that you can't stand.

My son also had a package lost there. I totally believe you on this! The staff is so rude. My son recently signed a lease (he needs to live close to school- he doesn't drive) and then just told yesterday that the former tenants decided to stay so the lease is void. What liars. That apt has been vacant.
