I have visited SEVERAL living arrangements in downtown Los Angeles and have found THe Medici to be Hands-Down the best. From the 1 acre park with lit tennis courts, grills, putting green, track, and volleyball court, to the state-of-the-art gym with steam room, sauna, and tanning, I have seen no other complex that can compete. Beautiful pool area with jacuzzi and rooftop pool as well! While management has been lacking in the past, the Medici has made leaps and bounds in the last 4 months in regards to their team in the office as well as maintenance and security. I can not say that The Medici is without its problems but I can say that the problems are being worked on actively and are miniscule in the broad scope of living here. It is beautiful here and I feel like I am on vacation everyday when I return from work. I love it.

WTF...have you checked out the rooftop pool? It's roof top pool next to all the vents and A/C units, pretty crappy if you actually look at it and who knows how many times they clean it since it's so hard to get up there.
1 Acre park? sounds like someone is advertising on this place, although park is a nice feature but the putting green is not what you think. State of the art gym??? What are you smoking, checkout the gym at other luxury apts don't compare medici with run down apts and try to put it on a pedestal. Luxury Apt price without the luxury living. Pool and Jacuzzi are dirty, the gym at visconti is much better! (owned by the same management company with better manager). Management is STILL lacking, parking sucks, don't plan on having friends over because they won't find guest/visitor parking. I don't know how many units are in Medici, but there must be at least 500 units and only 5 guest parking spaces? That's something to think about. As someone mentioned in one of the responses, medici really is turning into a dorm type of setting with all the beer bottles and loud music. Also, apartments get robbed and cars get broken into in a gated parking garage. Time for a new manager. When you get there to lease the apt, you'll meet some nice people. After you move in, you'll be dealing with some A-holes. Can't wait to move out.
