Medici - The Worst of what Downtown has to offer

Medici is horrible in most descriptions of an apartment. Management is HORRIBLE. They were charging me an extra $50 a month on my rent, until I called them out by showing my copy of lease.

Place is filled with students. Sure, that can seem fun for some, but it sometimes ends like being a house party for freshman in the halls. You can hear people walking down the halls and talking as they go by.

In addition, management owes me thousands of dollars in referral fees and they have yet to pay me. They are extremely shady in their business practices and I'm at the point of reporting to the Better Business Bureau.

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT live here. There are countless other complexes that offer more and a better price in downtown. Good luck.

Hi Shokie, Please contact me. the Manager of Medici, so that we can settle your account. If we owe you money, we will pay you. There are certain things we look at to determine if a referral should be paid out. A LOT of times the individual that was referred, does not state who referred them, when asked. I would really like to look into your claims. Thank you and I hope you have now found a home that suits your needs.

I moved out more than 3 months ago, in the limbo between one of the many management company's of Medici. I recommend you look at your dismal 31% recommendation record and reevaluate the way your apartment building does business. Your front desk is either inept or uncooperative, and getting a hold of someone in management is harder than it should be. I'll gladly be contacting you for both my referral fees and my security deposit, STILL. While I'm on this rant, and presume it will only fall on deaf ears, your leasing department is a joke. What apartment building gives a new tenant keys to an apartment, with the Uhaul downstairs, only to find someone is still living in the room? I'm very happy in my new apartment building in downtown - it is like night and day when dealing with my current management. If you think you can remain inefficient simply because FIDM and USC feed you tenants, you are wrong. People will catch on.
