If I had known that I would be paying so much to live in a building with low income housing, I would have NEVER rented here! They should disclose that information to regular renters. The office staff was very friendly when they were trying to get me to lease, but now that they have my money, it seems as if they dont care at all!!!
I thought the outside building lighting up was a cool feature, but who cares? I dont get to see it, because my apartment doesn't face that way!!! HUGE MISTAKE! For everyone reading this, ASK about low income housing before you make the same mistake I did!!!

I am a prospective tenant. Is there a problem with the low income housing tenants or do you just have a problem with the fact that you pay more than they do?

This person clearly does not live here and is just trying to sabotage Met Lofts Rep. He gave parking the lowest score possible when in fact we have the best parking in downtown. whatever floor you live on, you park on and you have direct access to your floor from the electric controlled, limited access garage. Noise? The construction is solid concrete! Safety? No one can guarantee that but we have electronic and video survelance at every entry way and 24 hour front desk attendants. Maintenance? we have 24 hour emergency maintenance and regular maintenance is here 7 days a week. Construction? Have you seen us? We are the hottest, hippest, most awesome building in downtown. we are the most expensive because we are the best. We kill every other rental building in downtown. Why do you think every other building offers "one month free rent?" Because they are not confident in their product so they have to give something away. I love this building. It is awesome. I have lived here since it opened and it is truly and architectual masterpiece. And, yes, 20% of the lofts are low income and we are PROUD of that fact. It helps keep downtown diversified by offering programs like this and people who would not normally be able to enjoy such fine living conditions like this are now able to thanks to the program.
