The Met is safe and has nice apartments. Parking is expensive ($100/car/month) but overall we were happy there. There are lots of students from USC and FIDM so we had our share of parties upstairs and pranksters doing dumb things to the lamps in the hallways, but hey.

The only part that really gave us a headache was moving out. They kind of screwed us on the lease (originally told us we could have a 9-month student lease, then later backpedaled and said no, 12-month minimum) and then they never sent our deposit back. We filed in small claims' court and got a phone call the last business day prior to court day-- apparently we scared them enough that they cut a check the very next day for the full amount.
