I live at the Met, and have for over a year. First i will say that if you own a car, be assured it will be towed away, even if they supposedly assigned you a parking spot. The managment is terrible and unorganized. The parking is billed as secure gated parking, yet the gate has been broken for 7 or 8 months now. Repairs are never done on anything here. There is a trash door on the elevnth floor that has been missing since last october at least, and it still isnt fixed. I have complained many times and nothing is done. The rent is high the apartments are low to mid range quality. I am ashamed to bring company to my home here because it stinks so badly from the missing trash door. The jacuzzi is always broke, and the so called TV room has had the cable disconnected for months. The amount of rent each tenant pays is enough to get the bill paid and service turned back on. The office hours are a joke, as anyone who works a normal job cannot ever get the managment since they open at or after 9 am and close at 5 or 6 depending on the mood of the managment. The cleaning crew is terrible as i have seen puke in the parking garage and in the elevator that has stayed there for weeks until someone finally cleaned it up. The elvators are shot and slow and breakdown constantly. This is just a sample of the property. All i can say is if you still are considering looking at this property ask them about the things i have mentioned, and dont go for it when they say it just happened and its being repaired as we speak. Ask to see the gate in the garage, the jacuzzi, the tv that doesnt have service, the so called weight room that was supposed to be here last year, and the trash door on eleven, oh and dont forget the nasty laudry facilities with broken down old machines. Imagine waiting in line to do laundry at your home. So anyway thats the facts live from the Met in downtown LA!
