Don't live here if you have friends!

I lived at the MET for a year while I attended USC.
the building was always very clean and felt safe and in what's becoming a really cool location but this place was NOT worth the headaches.
First off, when I went on a tour, the resident services advisor told me they had "NEVER seen the guest parking lot full so that completely won't be an issue" about a week after I moved in they sent around a memorandum about how they cut down available hours/space for guests.. and they kept doing this and doing this for months until it was absolutely impossible to ever find an open guest space (except for maybe weekdays a 12pm) . For the last 6 months it was a rare occasion that even my boyfriend could come and visit me because there were NEVER guest spaces open! And this was on a week night, i didn't even try for weekend nights. Its ABSOLUTELY ridiculous that a building with so many residents paying $1500/mo to have NINE spaces available for their guests (oh and mind you, the front desk staff regularly park in them all day long). Honestly, I didn't renew my lease this school year because I hated having an awesome apartment that none of my friends could even visit me at.
Forest City Staff -- if you're reading this ( and its apparent that you do by the reviews you're writing) FIX THE PARKING SITUATION and make your building actually worth its undeserving price tag.
