I stayed in Midvale Plaza for a little bit over 3 years (2000-Dec/2003). The apartment is nice and I truly enjoyed my stay there, but I am very disappointed with the deposit issue even up until now. I agree with the person who said "they gave back almost nothing from deposit." Upon move out in 2003 we had the apt manager Ingrid come for inspection. Her comment was "wow, the place is clean, you guys kept it in really good shape, it looks good". But in the end we received the check with little amount of deposit returned, most of which was deducted for carpet -- the claim was that there were stains that couldn't be removed and they charged carpet cleaning fee carpet replacement fee. We do not have any carpet stains. We contacted Ingrid, and she asked us to contact the supervisor. After leaving several voice messages and mailed letter twice, there were no reply. We finally got a hold of the supervisor in which she said she got our message but have been so busy so she will get back to us, in which she never did. We followed on this matter for one year... in which the time is better spent elsewhere. So you will enjoy your stay in this apartment, but my recommendation is to TAKE PHOTOS upon move out, so you have proof just in case you encounter this situation as ours. Their inspection with you doesn't mean anything.
