I'll break it down for you...

I moved into these apartments about a month ago and I will tell you everything, both positive and negative.

First of all, I live in the 888 building, so as far as noise I can honestly say I have never heard so much as a peep from the trains, buses or people. I have stood at the double windows, watched as buses drove by, and been amazed because I can't hear anything. I got a special move in rate for this place, so I have a one bedroom with two parking spots (included in the rent) which I think is fantastic since I at my other place in downtownI paid $100 bucks a spot. Now, I don't know about the person that said this place has been open a year, because when I signed my lease in October prior to moving in during the month of February, the bldg. I live in now wasn't even done, and the the 880 bldg. had just barely allowed people to move in.
As far as I'm concerned the amenities in the complex are better than the apartments themselves. There is a sweet club room with a big flat screen and wifi, plus a business center, an additional party room up by the pool and incredible fitness facilities. There's even saunas in the men's and ladies rooms. There's also a roof top pool and hot tub, and I think there are bbq's up there as well. The grounds are nice and the women in the leasing office have gone out of their way to be helpful with everything and anything you ask for.
I will say that when I signed my lease, it was to begin on January 15. The building ended up not being totally ready for move in, but, as I stated early, the wonderful ladies in the office at least let me move my stuff in, even if I wasn't able to stay there right away. When I did move in I think that in the rush of getting the apartments ready as soon as possible, there were a few details in the apt. that were neglected (the dishwasher wasn't plugged in), however they were fixed by the next day when I got home from work. I do think that maybe some of the bathroom isn't of the highest quality, but I honestly think the kitchen is great. I like all the stainless steel appliances. One thing, though, there is white carpet. Who puts white carpet in a new apt' Anyway, that's really all I can think of. Oh! They allow pets! My rent is less than $1300 a month, and I have a washer and dryer, d/w, a/c, two included spots. I cannot find another unit in downtown with all those included for that price. However, I think that that rate I got was a special move in rate. One more thing, I do hear people walking around upstairs, not bothersome, but I know they're there.

If you are paying 1300 a month, you must have the smallest studio at some promotional rent. I looked at this property and it is expensive. Two spots are not included either, maybe you're paying for it and not aware. Pets are allowed at an additional cost.

check out Metro 417, it's much nicer and quieter.

I actually used to live at Metro 417, and Anonymous IS right, it is nicer, but I also paid about $1000 more a month there in rent.
