I would never, ever recommend living at the Mozaic to anyone. All the reviews prior to mine are ALL TRUE!

POOR MANAGEMENT: I had an issue that should have taken about 10 minutes of the maintenance s time but it took 3 weeks to repair! I was not able to shower for 3 weeks. I called maintenance approximately 4 times before someone came to my apartment to look at my issue. When I called the last time, they had the audacity to tell me that it was my responsibility to make sure that they came to my apartment to fix the request. MY RESPONSIBILITY! As if I didn t call on 4 separate days

HORRIBLE MAINTENANCE: The hallways, elevators, and garage area all smell like feces. I thought it might have been the lack of trash cans around that caused the smell but when they finally (after about 7 months of living there) decided to put trash cans on every level, the smell became even worse.

My parking spot was near the trash dumpsters and I had to close my air vents to avoid the awful smell in my car. The trash is always overflowing out of the dumpster area, leaving trash all over the floor.

The Jacuzzi that is supposed to be filled with heated water is ALWAYS colder than the pool. The pool is only heated during the summer months by the sun. Forget about swimming during the cooler seasons as the water is ice cold.

As if the above reasons weren t bad enough there s more:

The fire alarms go off about once a month. No, they re not the standard apartment fire alarm where that one unit s alarm will go off.. The entire building is screeching for about 30 minutes and I m not even exaggerating. And the worst part about it it goes off during the wee morning hours when normal people are sleeping .. And its always, ALWAYS a false alarm.

There s no guest parking so forget about inviting your friends or family over at all unless they re willing to pay about $15 for Union Station parking or they want to pay about $7-8 across the street. There used to be about 5 spots in the front which management has recently changed into Future Resident Parking .

The hot water was shut off for about 2 weeks. I couldn t shower, do laundry or wash dishes in hot water! 2 weeks!!

Also, be careful washing children or pets under running water. Luke warm water will turn scorching hot in the matter of seconds even without adjusting the temperature dial.
