I have lived at this apartment building for five years, and I love the rent price which includes gas, water, electricity, and trash. I can't compare my deal to the surrounding apartments near me. Within my years of living here, I have never had any rats(my biggest fears), but occasionally there are some roaches. When I contact the building manager, who lives on site, she is very responsive and quick to act on the situation. This building is for the most part very quiet. I only know about three neighbors in the entire building. The positives about living here are the bldg manager who lives on site, the lovely and well kept front garden, the quiet neighbors, and its central location in the Los Angeles area. The negatives are poor parking. There is a parking lot that has a long waiting list. Street parking is a hot mess. There is no AC in the building. Heat is generated by a radiator. Also the laundry room doesn't have a coin machine. Always remember to bring your own change before doing your laundry. If I had to move, I would only move because of lack of parking. Other than that, I really adore and admire the building manager for her efforts in maintaining the bldg.
