Huge mistake! I hate this apartment building. It has the worst parking situation for guest. Guest must pay $6 to park in the building. They have the worst management. They rotate the management agents every month, so none of them, ever know who you are, and how to help you. They are also very rude, and could care less about your problems. The fire alarm accidently goes off every week, and is extremely loud. You never know if there's a real fire or not. They are slow to fix maintenance problems in the building. Gates to get in are always broken, and the elevator always breaks down. They claim that they are strict when it comes to noise complaints, but in reality they wait until they get a lot complaints before doing anything. Which sucks when you're trying to sleep at 3 in the morning, and there are people partying up after hitting a couple of bars right across from you. The security guards are too lazy to help. And don't let them fool you with a year lease. It's actually a 13 1/2 month lease. You may also find someone parked in your assigned parking spot. The apartment will not help you with this. It happened to me one evening. There was a car parked behind me, blocking me in (the building has stacked parking), I needed to leave in a hurry, and could not. I contacted management, and they said they could not do anything about it. However, if you park in the guest parking area, and do not pay 6 dollars, your car will certainly get towed within a moments notice. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here. The rent is also way too high. There are houses for rent cheaper than this place. The place is not that awesome to live in. They try to sell you on this whole "hotel living" experience, but there are so many factors that overshadow, the hotel carpeting, and uhm, that's it. Wow, they have plants, that you rarely ever see. I think I only ever walked through the courtyard when I was getting a tour of the place. Nothing around the area is very close. And there aren't very many things in downtown that are walkign distance from the apartment, and why would you want to drive through downtown l.a. Let me mention one more thing. The walls are paper thin, you can hear when your neighbor besides you flushes the toilet, as well as the neighbor above. DO NOT MOVE IN TO THE ORSINI.
